Introduction

In the Netherlands EU requirements on nickel are transposed into national law via "Commodity Goods Act Regulation General Chemical Product Safety  (Original titel: Warenwetregeling algemene chemische produktveiligheid)".

Defined Restrictions:
0.2 microgrm/cm2/week (migration limit) for items pierced into the human body
0.5 microgram/cm2/week in articles coming into direct and prolonged contact with skin.
