Restricted Substances Overview

This fourth update report of 2003 focuses on new developments in the EU, in the field of phthalates, azo colourants and the flame retardants penta- and octaBDE.

Relating to Eco-label issues, you will be interested to know that Lycra® has obtained the EU Eco-label.

Part of the current content of the database has also been reviewed, highlighting the need to add national implementations of the EU Nickel restrictions (which have been implemented in the Member States without any deviations), and to more clearly outline the Danish lead restrictions.
