Restricted Substances Overview

This update report on the first Quarter of 2004 highlights the new developments in the field of restricted substances relevant to apparel and equipment. Among the most interesting issues covered in this report is the extensive review of the Swiss substances legislation currently underway. The Swiss Government foresees that the new substances legislation will enter into force in the summer of next year. In the section covering NGO requirements, we have included information on a Greenpeace study and press release related to chemical tests of Disney clothing.
